Homes evacuated after gas line rupture in Mt. Juliet

MT. JULIET, Tenn. - Four homes were evacuated in Mt. Juliet following a gas line rupture Wednesday afternoon.

It happened in the 300 block of Dunnwood Loop off South Rutland Road.

Mt. Juliet police said a construction crew damaged a natural gas line, causing it to leak.

The leak was repaired less than an hour later and the evacuation lifted.

No injuries were reported.
