FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
The Cheesecake Factory is coming to the Cool Springs Galleria in Franklin. The restaurant will be located near Belk and open by the end of this year.
The mall also announced Friday the opening of Island Purveyor featuring Tommy Bahama as part of the facility’s redevelopment and expansion.
The store, which sells island-inspired fashion for men and women, will open later this summer across from The Apple Store near Macy’s.
Last October, the Cool Springs Galleria received the green light to renovate and add 74,000 square feet to the facility.
As part of the overall redevelopment effort, Belk is spending $12.6 million to expand and completely renovate its store, adding a new 50,000-square-foot men’s and kids store on the first level of the former Sears location.
In addition, a new 9,000-square-foot American Girl store is slated to open in the spring of 2015.
The Cheesecake Factory already has one Middle Tennessee location at the Mall at Green Hills. The restaurant opened in the fall of 2005.
