Officers sweep Nashville airport after suspicious call

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Emergency personnel swept Nashville International Airport Friday morning after the airport received a suspicious call.

Airport spokesperson Shannon Sumrall told News 2 the call was received around 9 a.m.

Airport police swept the concourse and terminals and found nothing.

The all-clear was given although the investigation is ongoing.

No flights were disrupted during the sweep.

Shannon declined to comment on the nature of the call or if the call was made inside the airport.
