QUEENSLAND, Australia - Two groomsmen in a wedding ripped off their suits and ran into the ocean in the middle of taking photographs to save a capsized boater earlier this week.

Dougal Grey and Clayton Deane were posing with newlyweds Aaron and Jo-Anne Easterbrook on Palm Cove Beach in Queensland, Australia Monday when the photographer noticed the overturned boat, ABC News reported.

“During our shoot, the videographer turned around and said, ‘What happened there?” Jo-Anne said during an interview with Cairns Post. “Up goes this boat and over it turns.”

As soon as the pair of groomsmen discovered the fisherman was stranded they stripped out of their suits and jumped into the water.

“[Deane] was first [in the water.] They helped the guy, then went back to get the boat and outboard motor and all the other bits and pieces that were in the boat like fuel containers and tackle boxes,” Easterbrook said.

The fisherman was not injured, but was exhausted by the incident.

Immediately after getting the man back to shore, the groomsmen posed in their underwear after the rescue, with the bridesmaids’ bouquets strategically placed.

"It was just an extra story to add, we had a few hiccups leading up to the wedding," Easterbrook told the Post. "It was one we definitely had a good laugh about at the reception.”

The entire rescue was captured by the wedding videographer.
