Pilot injured in west Tenn. plane crash after running out of fuel
A 62-year-old piolet was injured after his plane crashed in west Tennessee Wednesday morning.

A 62-year-old pilot from Ohio was injured when his plane crashed in west Tennessee Wednesday after running out of fuel.
Portions of the crashed Piper Archer single engine plane were located in a heavily wooded area on the Hatchie River in Lauderdale County, about two miles north of the Covington Airport where Kent Wingate was attempting to land at around 1 p.m.
Wingate, who was pinned into the plane’s wreckage, was airlifted to a Memphis hospital in critical condition.
