KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee basketball lost the fourth and final member of its recruiting class.

New head coach Donnie Tyndall released six foot, eight inch forward C.J. Turnam from his letter of intent Monday.

Forward Phil Cofer and guards Larry Austin Jr. and Jordan Cornish were granted their releases a week ago.

All four prospects were ranked among the top 200 players in the country by 247Sports.com.

All four prospects were also signed by Cuonzo Martin before he bolted for California.

Tyndall has urged his recruits at Southern Miss to give the school and new head coach a chance before asking for their release.

It’s still possible he could bring some of those Southern Miss signees with him.

As it stands, Tennessee has no recruits headed to Knoxville this fall.
