Clarksville nightclub shooting leaves 19-year-old paralyzed

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Three people, including a 19-year-old who is now paralyzed, were injured in a shooting at a nightclub in Clarksville early Saturday morning.

It happened just after 1:30 a.m. at Red Zone on College Street.

Witnesses told police the gunman started shooting after a fight broke out on the dance floor.

The 19-year-old, April Madison, was shot in the back by her left shoulder blade is now paralyzed from the waist down.

She remains at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and will soon be released to a rehab center.

Shane Lair, 18, was shot in the back of the arm.  He was taken to Gateway Medical Center where he was treated and released.

The third victim, a juvenile, was also shot in the back and taken to Vanderbilt.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

Police do not have a suspect but are looking for two men, believed to be inside the club at the time, who are wanted on unrelated charges.

Arxavier Osborne, 19, is wanted for aggravated robbery while Taivaun Bell, 19, is wanted for aggravated burglary.
