2nd arrest made in deadly dice game shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police have arrested and charged a second suspect in connection to a murder last September during a dice game.

Spencer Beasley, 22, was shot on September 27, 2013 in the 1600 block of Chase Street in east Nashville. He died the following day.

Tuesday night, detectives arrested DeMichael Moore at his east Nashville home.

Moore, 34, is charged with especially aggravated robbery and premeditated murder for his alleged involvement Beasley’s death.

Moore’s brother, Derrick Moore, 31, was and arrested and charged with criminal homicide and aggravated robbery for the murder last month.

Investigators say Beasley was allegedly shot in retaliation for a previous incident. His money and cell phone were taken.

DeMichael Moore has previous convictions for felony drug possession, aggravated assault, vehicle theft and evading arrest.

He is being held in the Metro jail without bond.
