CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A Ft. Campbell woman was arrested Easter Sunday in Clarksville after allegedly trying to run over her husband in a church parking lot because he disapproved of her driving skills.

It happened just before 12:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of St. Bethlehem on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Sarai Longhenry’s husband told police that on their way to church his wife was driving erratically with him and their daughter in the car.

After they attended service, he refused to get into the car with her because of the way she had been driving and they had an argument.

As he was walking away, he said she turned the vehicle in his direction and accelerated toward him, hitting the curb in front of him and making him jump back into trees.

Longhenry, 36, drove home but was met by Fort Campbell police. She was told to leave the base and drive to a nearby gas station from where Clarksville police arrested her.

She was booked into the Montgomery County jail on $1,000 bond.
