The Tennessee Volunteers concluded spring football with the annual Orange and White game Saturday afternoon in Neyland Stadium.
The offense was the overwhelming victor, scoring touchdowns the entire afternoon. However, two players from Nashville really stood out.
Beech Star Jalen Hurd did it all, catching balls out of the backfield and showing real talent for running the football. Hurd is back from an injury that kept him out his entire senior season of high school. He even found the end zone on a one yard dive.
Station Camp's Josh Malone was equally impressive. The freshman caught a 49 yard touchdown from Josh Dobbs, and no one caught him on a dead sprint to the end zone.
Head Coach Butch Jones was impressed with the entire offense, especially Malone, but he said the defense has to improve in the fall.
