NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A Nashville homeowner returned to find a stranger in his house and kept him there until police arrived when he realized he was a burglar.

The homeowner told police he arrived to his Pasquo Road home off Highway 100 in Bellevue around 12 p.m. Monday to find a silver Toyota truck in his driveway.

Upon entering his house, the homeowner heard a noise upstairs and went to investigate.

He found a stranger, later identified as 23-year-old Christopher Wright, in one of the rooms.

Wright reportedly told the homeowner he was there to fix an air conditioning unit, but the victim knew neither he nor his wife had called for a repair.

According to a police report, the homeowner then led Wright back downstairs, had him sit on the couch and asked him several questions.

Wright said he entered the home through an unlocked back door, but the homeowner reportedly found pry marks on the frame.

He called police when he realized the man was a burglar.

Responding officers found a bottle of pills in Wright's back pocket with the homeowner's name on the label along with a pair of white gloves and a screwdriver used to pry open the door.

Wright later admitted to entering the home to find pills.  He was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary.
