NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Kamerion Wimbley has signed a new contract after the Titans asked him to restructure his current deal.

Wimbley was supposed to earn $19.5 million over the next three years with a $6 million base pay. His new deal is reportedly for $9 million over the next three years.

During his second season with the Titans in 2013, Wimbley only recorded three sacks. Along with the new deal, Wimbley will be moving to outside linebacker as the Titans switch to a 3-4 defense for the 2014 season.

He spent his first six years in the league with the Browns and Raiders before joining the Titans in 2012. He earned $15.5 million in his first two seasons with the team.
