Annual telethon to raise money for Ronald McDonald House

Posted:
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The 24th annual "Calls For Kids" telecast benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Nashville will take place Saturday, April 5 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Hosts Lisa Patton, Neil Orne, Dawn Davenport, Justin Bruce, Samantha Fisher and Cory Curtis will introduce viewers to local families who have stayed at the House and highlight RMHC of Nashville programs while trying to raise a goal of $110,000.

Viewers will also see the renovation progress since pipes burst and flooded the Ronald McDonald House, forcing the charity to close 17 of its 32 rooms in January.

The Ronald McDonald House, located on Fairfax Avenue, provides low income housing for families of critically ill children receiving care at Nashville-area hospitals.

Watch the telecast live on News 2 and online.

Donations can be made at www.rmhcnashville.com or by calling 615-322-7900 or 866-766-9933 during the event.
