NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A man arrested following an anonymous tip in regard to a robbery last week was charged while behind bars with an aggravated robbery that occurred the day before.

Sylvainus Cole III, 26, was arrested Thursday after the anonymous call when he ran from police and was found to be in possession of handguns illegally.

Since his arrest, authorities have connected Cole to an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday at the Global Mall at the Crossings in Antioch.

Cole is accused of entering a barbershop, asking for a haircut then distracting the barber as he and another suspect pointed two guns at him.

Police say Cole then went through the victim's pockets and stole his wallet, cell phone and hair clippers.

The suspects then fled the store.  Cole was identified by the victim and a witness following a line-up.

He was handed an aggravated robbery charge while behind bars, where he remains on a total of $80,000 bond.
