NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The Tennessee Titans improved their pass rush Thursday agreeing to terms with veteran defensive end Shaun Phillips.

"Shaun is an athletic pass rusher, who has been a productive player his entire career," said Titans general manager Ruston Webster.

At six foot, three inches tall and 260 pounds, Phillips also has played much of his career in a 3-4 defense, which the Titans are transitioning to this season under new head coach Ken Whisenhunt.
