Predators shutout Blackhawks 2-0


Pekka Rinne had 29 saves and the Nashville Predators shutout the Stanley Cup Champion Blackhawks 2-0 in Chicago Sunday night.

For Rinne it was his first shutout of the season.  He missed 52 games while he recovered from a hip infection.

Mike Fisher scored his 18th goal of the season to start the scoring for Nashville who put only 17 shots on goal the entire game.

Gabrielle Bourque had the other goal for the Predators, it is his seventh of the season.

Chicago was without star forward Patrick Kane.  He's on injured reserve with a lower body injury and could miss the rest of the regular season.
