CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

A preliminary hearing for a 24-year-old Clarksville mother accused of killing her infant daughter has been scheduled for March 27.

Stefany Johnson's initial arraignment was postponed so she could undergo a mental evaluation.

Johnson is charged with criminally negligent homicide for the death of her seven-month-old daughter, Astrid.

The infant was discovered unresponsive at her family's home on Sonja Drive during the early morning hours of March 7.

Astrid's cause of death remains under investigation by authorities.
