GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. -

A Metro-Nashville Public Schools employee appeared in court Thursday afternoon after drug investigators reportedly made an ecstasy bust at his Goodlettsville home.

Joshua Bailey's home, located in the 1000 block of Lassiter Drive in the North Point subdivision, was raided by DEA agents Wednesday.

Investigators found a drug lab reportedly producing ecstasy, along with a large grow operation on the property.

Neighbors said they were surprised when DEA agents arrived to the home.

"I heard a bunch of doors shut and I looked out my window and there was K9 drug force task. There was a bunch of police officers and police dogs and dudes in HAZMAT suits," nearby resident Alysha Searcy said.

Bailey has been employed with MNPS since September 2005. School spokesperson Joe Bass said Bailey handles IT for MNPS Central Office and does not work with children.

He is expected to be placed on administrative leave.

Bailey is charged with possession with the intent to distribute.
