NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A 23-year-old man is wanted for shooting and robbing his childhood friend who was visiting from Memphis over the weekend.

Geoffery League Jr. is said to have picked up Jeremy Martin from his motel to go for a drive on Saturday.

While traveling on Sulphur Creek Road, near Taz Hyde Road, League pretended his car stalled.

After getting out of the car to see what the problem was, Martin told police League pulled a gun on him before ordering him to take off his clothes and give him all of his belongings.

Martin said he initially thought League was joking before he fired a shot, striking him in the leg.

Martin said he stripped down to his underwear and socks, and League took his cell phone, clothes and cash before shooting him for a second time.

The 22-year-old man walked to a nearby home where police were called.  He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

League eventually turned himself into authorities on Wednesday.

He is being held in the Metro jail in lieu of $50,000 bond on one count of especially aggravated robbery.
