Fight leads to fatal stabbing in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Clarksville police responded reports of a fight early Sunday morning and found a 31-year-old man with a stab wound.

The fight took place at 2:20 a.m. in the parking lot of 700 north Riverside Drive.

Darrell Willis, 31, was found stabbed and transported to Gateway Regional Medical Center.  He died from his injuries shortly after arriving.

Police reported 27-year-old Radames Rivera was taken into custody.  Investigation revealed he was responsible for stabbing Willis.

He was booked into the Montgomery County jail and charged with criminal homicide.
