Police nab suspects in Lawrence County thefts

LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. -

Detectives in Lawrence County have made four arrests in a series of thefts in the area.

Three men were arrested for a home invasion in Lawrence earlier this week.

According to a press release, a woman reported that two men dressed in camouflage, gloves and a mask kicked in the door of her home on Long Branch Road.

They then took her purse before fleeing the scene. The victim suffered had minor injuries.

Investigators said they linked 22-year old Max Pinto to the crime after he was scene in the area after the home invasion.

Officials believe he was driving the getaway car.

Authorities later arrested two others, Zachary Yarbrough, 23, and Terry Pope, 20.

All three have been charged with aggravated burglary, robbery and theft over $1,000.

Yarbrough and Pope face an additional charge of assault.

The suspects are being held without bond in a Lawerenceburg County Detention Center.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department also arrested 34-year-old Justin Tidwell for a separate case of thefts in the St. Joseph area near the Alabama state line. 

Authorities said victims had video footage of Tidwell stealing items from their property.

Tidwell will face numerous charges in Lawrence County, TN and Lauderdale County, AL.
