Man accused of opening fire on woman, home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A 20-year-old man was arrested Monday after police say he opened fire on a woman as she left her home.

According to an arrest affidavit, the victim was leaving a residence in the 2300 block of Woodridge Drive when she noticed a green Pontiac parked across the street.

A man then exited the vehicle and opened fire on her and the home.

Metro police were notified after she managed to get back inside. Officers located six spent shell casings in front of the home.

The victim identified the shooter as Darryl Haley, her friend's son.

Four other people were inside the home at the time of the shooting.

No one was injured.

Haley is charged with five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and remains in jail on $375,000 bond.
