Lady Vols handle South Carolina 73-61

The Tennessee Lady Vols finished the regular season with arguably their best win of the Holly Warlick era beating South Carolina 73-61.

The win over the 4th ranked Lady Gamecocks ended an eight game losing streak to top five teams for the Lady Vols and snapped South Carolina's 10-game win streak.

Meighan Simmons scored 16 points passing Kara Lawson to become the Lady Vols 5th all-time leading scorer.

Nashville native Isabelle Harrison dominated in the paint with 20 points and 15 rebounds.

The win clinches the 2 seed in the upcoming SEC Tournament in Duluth, Georgia for Tennessee (24-5, 13-3 SEC).

South Carolina (26-3,14-2) is the top seed after winning clinching the league title earlier in the week.
