NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A 20-year-old man wanted for questioning by Metro police in a fatal east Nashville shooting turned himself in Friday.

Police say Andre Lewis admitted in an interview to shooting Ronald Sanders last Saturday in the 500 block of Sylvan Street at the James Cayce public housing development.

Sanders died from his injuries.

Lewis was arrested and charged with criminal homicide.

Twenty-seven-year-old Christian Brown was also arrested and charged in Sanders' death.

Witnesses reported that Brown and a second suspect, now identified as Lewis, approached Sanders, 26, and demanded money.  Sanders refused, causing a heated argument, and was fatally shot.

Brown remains in the Metro jail.

Lewis is being held without bond pending a hearing.
