The Nashville Predators scored three straight power play goals to rally from a two goal deficit and beat Tampa Bay 3-2 Thursday night at Bridgestone Arena.
It's the first time all season the Preds have scored three power play goals in one game.
Martin St. Louis scored both goals for Tampa in the first period and it looked like the Lightning had Nashville goalie Carter Hutton on the ropes.
Nashville got on the board in the second period when Matt Cullen scored to make it 2-1 and grabbed the momentum.
Moments later the Predators were on the power play again and Roman Josi painted the pipe with his 9th goal of the season to tie the game.
Patrick Hornqvist scored the game winner in the third off of a rebound of a Mike Fisher shot.
The Preds pick up a big two points in the playoff chase. It's a critical two weeks for Nashville. Thursday was their first of five straight games at home.
