If Tennessee basketball coach Cuonzo Martin is on the "hot seat," Vanderbilt head coach Kevin Stallings does not understand why.
Stallings firmly supported Martin Thursday saying questions about Martin's future are "absolutely a joke" and he hopes Dave Hart and the Vols athletic administration "tune those idiots out."
Martin's Vols barely missed the NCAA Tournament his first two years on the job and are on the bubble once again this year at 17-11, 8-7 in the SEC.
With the return of Jarnell Stokes and Jordan McRae, expectations were high before the season, but several unexpected losses, including one at Vanderbilt earlier this season, have spoiled the Volunteers' record.
Tennessee hosts Stallings and his Commodores Saturday in what is a "must win" game for the Vols tournament hopes.
