Dying man makes girlfriend's dreams come true in final months

SOUTH WALES, U.K. -

Chris Price, 26, was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus in April 2012 and given the "all clear" from doctors.

The cancer, however, returned a year later in April 2013, and doctors then told him he had six months to live, according to Daily Mail UK.

What Chris did next for his final months has touched people around the world.

Knowing the time he had left was short, Chris decided to make the dreams of his long-time girlfriend, Ceri, come true.

First, he proposed to 29-year-old Ceri, marrying her in a beautiful church with her four children as the guests of honor.

After the wedding, Chris took his new wife and her children, a nine-year-old girl and six-year-old triplets, to Disneyland in Paris, France.

"He was so positive; he never talked about dying. He just wanted to see me and the children happy in the time he had left," Ceri told Daily Mail.

A mere few weeks after returning, Chris took Ceri to New York for a weekend of sight-seeing and shopping, dropping $1,500 on a Mulberry handbag that she had always dreamed of owning and a pair of Louboutin shoes.

The weekend in New York was supposed to be followed by a trip to Las Vegas for Ceri's birthday, but sadly, time had run out.

Chris died in Ceri's arms in January.

His funeral was held in the exact same church where the couple married just six months earlier.

Ceri said they played his favorite song, "Show Me Love" by Robin S.

"That's all he ever did was show everyone he met love," she said. "I miss every moment of every day."

Ceri added that she has no regrets; the couple knew what was going to happen and spent every second savoring their time together.
