KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -

Tennessee's NCAA Tournament hopes are still alive after a 75-68 win at Mississippi State Wednesday night.

Firmly on the NCAA bubble with only four games to play, the Volunteers desperately need to win out to make their first tournament in three years under head coach Cuonzo Martin.

Jordan McRae put on a show for Tennessee with 29 points and a career high 10 rebounds.  Jarnell Stokes pumped in the first four points of the game on his way to 14.

The Volunteers led by 11 at the half, but could not put the Bulldogs away in the second half as MSU pulled within four points.

With three games left in the regular season the Volunteers are 17-11 overall, 8-7 and tied for fourth in the SEC.

The loss was the Bulldogs tenth in a row.
