The daughter of one of the most significant country music artists, Hank Williams Sr., was arrested early Tuesday morning for driving under the influence.
According to an incident report, Jett Williams Adkinson, 61, of Hartsville, was swerving between lanes in her 1998 tan Jaguar when Lebanon police initiated a traffic stop at approximately 2:30 a.m.
The report stated Adkinson smelled of alcohol on her and she had slurred speech.
Adkinson admitted to drinking two beers.
She was then asked to perform standardized field sobriety test, which she failed.
Adkinson was placed under arrest and issued citations for not wearing a seatbelt and no proof of insurance.
