NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A man was arrested on Sunday after he punched a soccer referee in the face, knocking him out.

According to an affidavit, Dillan Rodriguez, 20, was issued a red card during the game.

The next thing the victim remembers is waking up about two minutes later after being punched.

The referee had a swollen upper jaw, a swollen upper and bottom lip, cuts on his face, a swollen nose and swollen fingers all from the single punch to his face.

The victim decided to press charges and was assisted by an officer at the scene.

Rodriguez's bond was set at $7,500 and is scheduled to be in court March 17.
