Teens accused of torturing classmate, carving swastika into forehead

Four teenagers in Portland, Ore. are facing kidnapping and assault charges after they allegedly tortured one of their classmates.

KPTV reports the victim, a 16-year-old boy, was lured into a shed on February 14 by one of the perpetrators.

Once inside, the boy was reportedly attacked with a crowbar and shot with a BB gun at close range in the chest, hand and groin.

The teens, ages 14 to 17, also carved a swastika into his forehead with a box cutter, police stated.

Three of them will be charged in adult court while the 14-year-old will be tried as a juvenile.

Authorities reported that when asked for a motive, the victim may have been a bully and the teens were retaliating against him.

According to the Associated Press, the teenagers had spent the evening prior sketching out ideas for torturing him.
