SURGOINSVILLE (WJHL) - Two Surgoinsville people were arrested on Wednesday after they allegedly beat and nearly bit off a man's finger on Dec. 12.
According to a Hawkins County affidavit, Misty Nicole Pearson, 31, and Brandon Eugene Frost, 28, both of 103 Forest View Drive, were charged after they reportedly beat a man and took some of his belongings.
On Dec. 12, Pearson reportedly lured, or tricked, a man into going to Frost's shop at 103 Forest View Drive in Surgoinsville, and when the man got out of the vehicle, Frost hit him in the face.
According to the report, Frost and Pearson beat and kicked the man, as well as punched and nearly bit off one of his fingers.
The man told deputies that he was also hit with a large stick or a similar object.
Pearson reportedly took two cell phones and a hat from the man.
According to the report, the man was able escape and went to Dot & Ricks Market for help. He was taken to a hospital in Hawkins County for treatment of a broken nose, broken rib and nearly severed finger.
Frost and Pearson reportedly then went on social media to brag about injuring the victim.
