Police, FBI seek identity of Nashville bank robber


Metro police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are working to identify the masked gunman who robbed a south Nashville bank Wednesday night.

The robber entered Apex Bank at 4536 Nolensville Pike around 5:35 p.m. and verbally demanded cash while pointing a pistol at two employees.

The clerks complied and the gunman fled.

He is described as a black male in his 20s who is approximately five feet, nine inches tall and has a slim build.  He has thin dreadlocks with blonde or gold tips.
