NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A woman was arrested Sunday after kidnapping a woman she accused of having an affair with her husband.
The incident started at the Waffle House on Conference Drive in Goodlettsville when April Ezentouti showed up at the victim's place of work and told her to get in her truck.
The victim told Ezentouti, 32, that she did not have an affair with her husband, but Ezentouti started to drive out of the Waffle House parking lot against the victim's will. The victim, according to an affidavit, told Ezentouti to stop but she continued to drive to see her husband. Once there, the victim says Ezentouti pulled a gun and threatened to kill her.
Ezentouti then hit the victim in the head with the gun several times before telling her to get out of the car. The victim went door to door on Northcreek Drive looking for help, and was taken to Skyline Medical Center where she received six stitches in her head.
Police picked up Ezentouti at an apartment complex in Madison. She later admitted to kidnapping and hitting the victim several times, but said she did not have a weapon.
Ezentouti was charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault. She is due in court February 20.
