NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Master Sgt. Jason and Maria Christianson met online and went on their first date almost two weeks ago.

On Friday, the couple tied the knot at the Rhinestone Wedding Chapel, noting Valentine's Day is the perfect time to express their love for each other.

"I think we both knew from the moment we met that we wanted to be together," said Maria Christianson.

Jason Christianson added, "We walked in and sat down to dinner together and started talking. I knew right away this was the one I wanted to be with."

Newly married couple Jennifer and Travis Shelton also decided to say, "I Do" Friday.

"When she was going off to work I told her she needed to call in and tell them she is getting married today," Travis Shelton explained to News 2.

The Rhinestone Wedding Chapel, located at 44 Music Square East, was expecting to perform at least a dozen ceremonies Friday.

"Valentine's Day has always been a day of love. It's the time to celebrate and a lot of people do get married on Valentine's Day," said Wedding officiate Rod Lilly.

Weddings at the Rhinestone Wedding Chapel start at around $300. Elvis themed wedding and traditional ceremonies are available.
