Vanderbilt falls at South Carolina 65-59

The ice thawed, but the Commodores fell at South Carolina 65-59 Thursday.

The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, but was postponed because of bad winter weather in the Palmetto State.

Kyle Fuller led Vandy with 20 points and freshman center Damian Jones turned in a strong effort with 16 points and 10 rebounds, but the Dores struggled all afternoon.

Sindarius Thornwell scored 18 points and South Carolina broke a five-game losing streak to Vanderbilt.

It's the Commodores second straight loss after four straight wins.
