Predators represented on 3 Olympic teams


The Nashville Predators are represented on three teams in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

The Predators entered the Olympic break on a 5-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks Saturday night.

Shea Weber is a member of Team Canada, which won the gold medal at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, and also serves as an alternate captain.

Canada will play Norway Thursday at 11 a.m.

Roman Josi will play for Switzerland in Sochi.  Their first game is against Latvia Wednesday at 11 a.m.

The Predators general manager David Poile will serve as the GM for Team USA, which will play Slovakia at 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

Former Predator Ryan Suter is also on Team USA, which got the silver medal at the 2010 Olympic Games.

The men's hockey portion of the Olympics will run from February 12 to 23.
