Vanderbilt falls to Arkansas 77-75 in final seconds


Michael Qualls hit a 3-pointer with four seconds to go to give Arkansas its first road win of the season. The Vanderbilt Commodores were on a four-game winning streak before the 77-75 loss to the Razorbacks.
Qualls led the Razorbacks with 17 points and Coty Clarke contributed 14.
The teams went back-and-forth through the first half with Arkansas getting the five point lead at the intermission.

The second half continued the back-and-forth trend until the final seconds when Kyle Fuller hit two free throws to give Vanderbilt a one point lead with 12 seconds left in the game.
Qualls made a 3-pointer with four seconds left giving the Razorbacks a two point lead. Rod Odom missed a jumper at the buzzer, giving Arkansas the 77-75 victory.
Odom led the Commodores with 22 points followed by Fuller with 20.
