One of the nation's most popular stores among young girls of all ages has decided to open their newest location in Franklin.
American Girl announced Wednesday they are set to open a store at the Cool Springs Galleria in spring 2015.
The location will feature 9,000 square feet of the company's popular contemporary and historical dolls, along with an assortment of accessories, outfits and girl-sized clothing.
Fans will also be able to have a meal or dessert at the store's 25-seat Bistro, treat their dolls to a new hairdo in the Doll Hair Salon, or design a cute t-shirt in the Creativi-Tees boutique.
"For 16 years, American Girl retail stores have created unforgettable memories for millions of girls and their families, and we're thrilled to now bring the American Girl experience to even more fans in the Nashville area," said Wade Opland, American Girl's vice president of retail.
Opland added Cool Springs is an ideal location for their newest store because it so well-established and offers an upscale mix of stores and restaurants.
American Girl's flagship store, American Place, was established in Chicago in 1998. Since its creation, they have opened 16 stores nationwide and have welcomed more than 63 million visitors to date.
