Goodwill extends hours after donations dropped in January

Goodwill is extending the hours of 10 donation sites in Middle Tennessee.

The company stated that donations dropped in January because it was the coldest month in more than a decade.

Goodwill hopes that by extending their hours, it will give donors an opportunity to donate.

Ninety-eight percent of Goodwill's revenue comes from the sale of donated items.

The following locations will be open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.:

Nashville
Lowe's parking lot at 7034 Charlotte Pike
Lowe's parking lot at 3460 Dickerson Road    

Clarksville
Lowe's parking lot at 215 Lowes Drive

Murfreesboro
Lowe's parking lot at 1825 Old For Parkway
Goodwill parking lot at 710 Memorial Boulevard
Mercury Plaza Shopping Center at 1114 Mercury Boulevard

Mt. Juliet
Kroger parking lot at 4120 N. Mt. Juliet Road

Lebanon
Lowe's parking lot at 645 S. Cumberland Street

Gallatin
Lowe's parking lot at 1301 Nashville Pike

Springfield
Goodwill parking lot at 2008 Memorial Boulevard
