There was further proof Tuesday things are changing with the Tennessee Titans. Brad Brown was let go after 27 years as the team's head trainer.
Brown was originally hired in 1987 when the team was still in Houston. Before joining the Titans/Oilers organization Brown spent two years with the Browns.
Also Tuesday, Cannon Matthews was hired as quality control coordinator for the defense.
He was a defensive coaching intern with the Browns last season under new Titans defensive coordinator Ray Horton. Before that he spent four seasons with the Buffalo Bills.
Quality control coaches spend countless hours dissecting game films of upcoming opponents.
