NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police have arrested two more people in connection to a cross-country marijuana tracking operation between California and Nashville.

Jacob Masters was arrested on January 13 and Cole Gamby was arrested January 21.

Masters, 27, is accused of receiving marijuana from the local distributors and distributing it for resale.

Cole Gamby, also 27, allegedly received marijuana from the local distributors then transported it in and around Davidson County.

Both men are also accused of acting together in order to transport felony amounts of marijuana in an attempt to avoid police detection.

The arrests are part of a lengthy, on-going investigation into a marijuana trafficking ring, allegedly partially led by Brian Bailey, 40, and John Houghland, 39, of Nashville.

Bailey and Houghland were arrested along with seven others on January 23 and accused of being the local principals aiding in the transport, distribution and sale of marijuana throughout Nashville.

A California man, 64-year-old George Auzans, is the alleged supplier for both Nashville men.  He was also arrested last week.
