Mt. Juliet man killed in south Nashville crash


A 47-year-old Mt. Juliet man involved in a two-vehicle accident in south Nashville Monday evening has died from his injuries.

The accident occurred just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and Foster Avenue.

Police said Thomas Finn slammed into a Pontiac G6 that was stopped at a red light at the intersection.

Finn and the other driver, a 23-year-old Missouri woman, were both transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Finn later died of his injuries.

Authorities reported he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
