Wanted man arrested in connection to separate crime

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A man wanted in connection to an armed home invasion in December was arrested Saturday morning after he allegedly committed another crime.

Dion Lollar, 21, is currently being held in the Metro jail on multiple charges.

According to investigators, Lollar and a 17-year-old juvenile forced their way into a home on Dover Glen Drive on the night of December 6 and robbed a 46-year-old woman at gunpoint.

The victim told police the suspects referenced her adult son before stealing several items and taking her vehicle.  The car was later recovered in Chattanooga.

The 17-year-old was arrested mid-December on charges of aggravated robbery and unlawful gun possession.

Lollar, however, managed to evade arrest until Saturday when he arrested for robbing a man of his personal belongings Friday night.

Police stated Lollar advertised he had a TV for sale online and robbed the man who showed up to purchase it.

The victim reported he entered a residence in the 2400 block of Scott Valley Drive, and Lollar robbed him at gunpoint and shot him several times in the leg.

The victim was driven by a friend to the home and was able to get away and flag down a trooper at a nearby seatbelt checkpoint for help.

He was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Lollar was arrested Saturday after officers spotted him in the area.  He initially gave police a false name.

He was charged with criminal impersonation, aggravated robbery and especially aggravated robbery.

His bond has been set at $100,000.
