Kevin Stadler wins Pheonix Open

Kevin Stadler got his first PGA TOUR victory at the Pheonix Open Sunday.

Bubba Watson missed a 5-footer for par on the 18th that would've sent it into a playoff.

Earlier on the 11th hole, Stadler's tee shot got stuck in a cactus. That resulted in a drop and a double bogey. Later, he birdied the 17th hole to move to 16-under and tie with Watson. He missed a birdie on the 18th to take home the win but settled for par. Watson just missed his par shot, leaving Stadler the winner of the Pheonix Open.

Graham DeLaet and Bubba Watson both finished one stroke behind Stadler at 15-under.

Stadler is the son of PGA TOUR winner Craig Stadler. He closed at 3-under 68 to get the one-stroke victory over Watson.
