Austin Peay ( 9-13, 3-5 OVC) started out slow and Murray State (13-8, 8-1) led by 16 points with 5:21 left in the first half.

The Governors brought the lead down to eight at the half and continued the comeback into the second half.

They were down 87-86 with 1:21 to play, but the Racers made a few free throws to put the game out of reach.
