COLUMBIA, Tenn. -

At least two apartment homes were damaged in a fire Wednesday morning in Columbia.

The fire broke out at the Graymere Apartments located on Union Place off James Campbell Boulevard around 8:15 a.m.

Fire crews made it to the scene approximately two minutes after the call was made.

The fire was contained to one unit.  The unit below suffered water damage.

No one was injured during the fire.

However, out of concern for an elderly woman, firefighters insisted she was taken to the hospital so she wouldn't have to wait in the cold.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
