Metro police said an alert citizen helped in the arrest of a serial burglary suspect Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities reported the citizen noticed 22-year-old Montez Webster peering into windows on Pillow Street, near Hamilton Avenue before quickly notifying police.
Officers arrested Webster a short time later on nearby Martin Street.
At the time of his arrest, Webster was carrying a bag that contained a stolen MacBook laptop, an iPad and two other tablets.
Police have since returned some of the stolen items to their owners.
Webster is charged with aggravated burglary and theft. He has previous convictions for unlawful weapon and drug possession and is being held in lieu of a $40,000 bond.
