Predators 3 game point streak comes to end

The Predators three game point streak came to an end with a 5-1 loss to the Edmonton Oilers Sunday night. It was the Oilers first win in their last seven games.
Edmonton struck first off the stick of Justin Schultz at just 2:59 into the contest. Nashville answered back in the first period on a two-on-one break away and snap shot by David Legwand.
The Predators' lead was short lived as Jordan Eberle took a cross-ice feed from Taylor Hall to score his 18th goal of the season. From there, Edmonton refused to back down.
Justin Schultz, Nail Yakupov and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins were all able to get passed Carton Hutton who suffered his first loss of his last five starts.
The Predators wrap up their four-game road trip against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday.
