A familiar face from ABC's hit show "Nashville" made an appearance in Music City on Saturday.
Eric Close, who plays Mayor Teddy Conrad on "Nashville," attended the ‘La Bella Notte' party for the Nashville Opera.
Close told News 2 he started attending operas as a child and that he was honored to be asked to serve as the celebrity chair for the event.
"What's fun and exciting about this program, it reaches 25,000 students and adults exposing them to the arts, and I'm glad to be supportive of that," said Close.
Proceeds from the black tie event support the opera's education and outreach programs.
‘La Bella Notte' is the opera's biggest annual fundraiser.
